Mount Isa residents make backyard improvements to protect their children.

Once again Mount Isa residents have made fantastic improvements to their gardens, by reducing the amount of bare soil areas where their children play.

The Lead Alliance thank and congratulate all participants in this program for their concerted effort. This year we had so many won-derful entries it was very difficult to choose the winners. The Alliance committee would like to commend entrants on the effort and hard work you and your family have put into reducing the amount of bare soil areas in your gardens. It is a credit to you, you have created beautiful gardens.

While Mount Isa remains…it is essential that all Mount Isa children are made fully aware of how to be lead smart, especially in the garden, not only is it great fun it is educational and an essential life skill for them to learn.

Families where given the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes by reduce the amount of bare soil areas in their gardens and this years winners are to be congratulated for their efforts.

The Lead Alliance would like to thank our valued sponsors: Adels Grove, Mount Isa Home & Garden Centre, Bunnnings Mount Isa and The North West Star.
